Palm Beach Country Estates
Palm Beach Country Estates is a family-friendly community that is well-known for its large lots, custom homes, and quiet atmosphere. The homes in the community are situated on a minimum 1.25 acres and, since each estate is custom-built, no two homes are alike. Residents appreciate the pride in ownership, privacy, and the freedom that exists from no homeowners association. An added bonus, the community is zoned for Palm Beach County top-rated public schools.
Demand for real estate in the community has increased dramatically since the nearby development of Abacoa was completed along with Florida Atlantic University, Scripps Research Institute, and the extension of I-95. Prior to these developments, the neighborhood was considered the boondocks to residents in nearby towns and cities. Many homes were designed for horse owners and feature Equestrian facilities. The communities original homes were built in the 1970s, but new construction is still an option for those wishing to build their own home. Currently, there are more than 1300 existing homes and more than 100 lots available for purchase.
Located at the end of Donald Ross Boulevard, this quiet community has not lost its sense of peaceful living. While more shopping, dining, and civilization has highlighted the neighborhood and increased its value, residents are quick to point out that they are still “country.” With no homeowners association or deed restrictions, residents are free to use the land as they wish. However, the Donald Ross Landowner Association requests a $35 donation to maintain the entrance and support a few of the annual events. Typically, there are not too many homes on each street, and the homeowners decide for themselves if they want to share the cost for things such as a paved street. The community uses septic tanks and, while city water is available, many residents prefer to use their own well water.
With the substantial growth in Abacoa, Jupiter and Palm Beach Gardens, the secret is out about tranquil Palm Beach Country Estates!
